about us

DTCA Background

Founded in 2006, the Dora Tamana Cooperative Agency (DTCA) is a not-for-profit cooperative support agency dedicated to improving the lives and livelihoods of workers, communities, and cooperative enterprises. Our mission is to develop sustainable cooperative enterprises through the strong participation of trade unions and community members, fostering a cooperative and solidarity economy.

DTCA plays a crucial role in today's socio-economic landscape, especially as communities face increasing social and economic crises. By promoting cooperative models, we aim to reduce poverty, create jobs, and ensure wealth is distributed more evenly, all while protecting the environment for future generations. We provide support through various donate, including co-op banking, community-owned stores, housing cooperatives, worker co-ops, and agricultural cooperatives.
